East-West Seed has successfully completed the Farm Lertphan 2 (FLP2) Development Project, which will play avital role in supporting Research and Development alongside parent stock production. Acquired in 2019, FLP2 spans 50 hectares, making it the largest and most significant investment within the East-West Seed Group.

Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated teams, the project was realized between 2020 and 2024, including the BBT Plant Engineer Team, former and current farm operations teams, the Procurement Team, and our consulting engineers. Their hard work made it possible to implement key infrastructure, including a comprehensive water system, drainage, flood prevention measures, and a connection to the Ping River, benefiting the local community.

FLP2 also introduces modern management systems such as automated irrigation and fertilization, closed nursery greenhouses with IoT-enabled miniboom sprayers, and a weather station. The farm also includes a 100% solar-powered office building, production trial facilities, worker accommodations, and a seed washing and germination building.

The landscaping by K. Prachuab, including tree planting along the perimeter and the creation of windbreak lines, further enhances the site. The completion of FLP2 marks a significant step in East-West Seed’s commitment to sustainable farming practices and innovation. This project is expected to contribute to our continued growth and impact in the agricultural industry.
