East-West Seed Thailand recently introduced two promising varieties designed to help farmers overcome common production challenges while improving yield and marketability.
In Kanchanaburi, over 40 local farmers gathered for the launch of Khao Tok Hi Plus, the company’s latest pumpkin variety. Known for its strong resistance to viruses, high yield potential of up to 4 metric tons per rai, and uniform fruit quality, Khao Tok Hi Plus offers a dependable solution for tropical farming conditions.
Meanwhile, in Chiang Mai, East-West Seed presented Sigma F1 Tomato to more than 200 farmers across four locations. This variety features firm, virus-resistant fruits and shows excellent performance during the dry season, making it a reliable option for growers seeking both resilience and market value.
These introductions are part of East-West Seed’s ongoing efforts to support farmers with innovative, climate-adapted varieties that deliver results in the field and in the marketplace.
