The recent Agricultural Trade Fair in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, held from November 11-15, was an excellent opportunity for our East-West Latin America team to engage in key commercial meetings with our main partners, ensuring seed availability and fostering continued growth as leaders in papaya in Mexico.
The team also took advantage of the opportunity to closely examine the genetic offerings from major competitors and other key players in Mexico’s seed industry. A significant focus was the competitive landscape of high-tech tomato seeds, especially those with enhanced resistance to the Tomato Brown Rugose Virus (ToBRFV).
Additionally, the Fair allowed the East-West Seed Latin America team to explore the latest advancements in pest management and biostimulants, including chemical, botanical, and biological options. These insights are vital to providing more agronomical advice to our customers and growers in order to maximize genetic potential.
This event was an effective opportunity to strengthen partnerships in Mexico, gain industry insights in Irapuato.
Beyond business, the conference gave East-West Seed a chance to connect and have fun with colleagues from Guatemala, mixing professional development with great team spirit!
