BANGKOK, Thailand – September 15, 2025 –
East-West Seed (EWS) announces today the appointment of Jihan Mercier as Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the Managing Board. She will report directly to JC Filippi, Chief Executive Officer.
Jihan will lead the newly created Global Strategic Marketing and Crop Team Organization focusing on long-term marketing strategy, overseeing crop portfolio development, enhancing market insights and developing organizational capabilities. Jihan will be instrumental in connecting EWS’ global and local strategies, strengthening cross-team collaboration and continuing to drive the company’s transformation agenda.

Jihan joins East-West Seed from Hazera Seeds (Limagrain Group), where she led global marketing and business development. She previously held leadership positions at HM. Clause and Syngenta.
